 The products in our kits are top quality on their own but in a single container you have everything you need to take care of you family (based on 2 adults & 2 children under  12) for approximately 7 days. Most kits that are out there are in a 5 gallon bucket. They are very difficult to open and the products that are inside, well just are not what I would want to depend on when it come to taking care of my family. Instead of a “food bar” we have full great tasting meals with dessert by Mountain House Foods. Just add hot water and your ready to eat.  Wait, were did the water much less hot come from you ask? Our kit doesn't just contain some emergency drinking water but also has a water filter to take out most contaminates and a 5 gallon bladder container to but your filtered water in.  We also include a small stove to heat your water.

 

  What about 1st aide? If there is a natural disaster chances are you may need something more than a band aide till help can get to you. Our kit has band aides, CPR mask, trauma bandages, blood clotting agent, splints and most important a 1st aide manual to show you how to use it.

But don't wait till you need it to read it.Study it before hand. Take Red Cross CPR and a 1st aide class.  Shelter to me is out of the elements as much as possible. That is why we put in an actual 4 person tent. Quick one person setup and it will help keep you dry and out of the weather. Wool blankets in ours keep warm even when wet.

 

  Included is a high quality multi tool, shovel, wind proof lighter, 4 way power weather radio, 50’ of cord, bright LED head lamp with long battery life, batteries, matches, 

 

  It comes in a watertight, air tight, resealable, almost indestructible Pelican hard case. It is big enough to leave you room for personal papers, special photos or even a little cash. The case can be locked with normal padlock although it is not recommended. You may not have the key when you need it worst.

 

  Also included is full instructions and survival tips and tricks from people that have actually used the equipment in real life situations.
